Netflix Reveals ‘Alice in Borderland’ Live-Action Series Release Date

Netflix confirms the ‘Alice in Borderland‘ series coming in December 2020. The psychological-thriller manga series coming as a live series adaptation on the platform.

Alice in Borderland‘ is the new live-action and Original series for the Netflix streaming service. This original series based on the character created and illustrated by Haro Aso. Also, this upcoming Original directed by Shinsuke Sato (I am a Hero, Kingdom) and written by Yasuko Kuramitsu. The manga series also serialized version in Shogakukan’s Shōnen Sunday S magazine.

Also, the manga came to a finish after 18 volumes and 87 chapters. And, this is pointed out for a second season.

Before the Netflix announcement, the live-action series listed on IMDb for November 2020. But now, Netflix officially confirmed with a revealed poster that ‘Alice in Borderland’ live-action series is coming on December 10th, 2020.

Here’s the full and official description:

“Ryohei Arisu (Arisu), a listless, jobless, and video-game-obsessed young man sees a strange light and suddenly finds himself in a mysteriously emptied out version of Tokyo along with his two best friends. They quickly discover that in this world, they must compete in one dangerous game after another in order to survive.

Also, the sci-fi thriller that combines the drama of human survival with the suspense of psychological gamesmanship. Alice in Borderland costars with Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya.”

But they can’t announce the number of episodes has yet. However, Netflix productions has between six and ten episodes. You can also watch this series in 4K if you have a premium subscription, a 4K device, and an internet connection that can at least 25Mbps.

There’s no official trailer for the ‘Alice in Borderland’ but Netflix probably will share soon.
