Studio Ghibli shares 400 free-to-use images from its cult films

Studio Ghibli has shared a hidden mine of 400 free-to-use images from eight of its cult films. The animation company opens up the images for fans who also can’t resist viewing the collection.

If you’re a fan of Studio Ghibli‘s, we have good news for you. The Studio already posted 400 free-to-use images that mean every film commented and the start slideshow button below has 50 new high-resolution stills to explore for more. But there’s only one hint to use the images with “common sense” means fans have the green light from Suzuki to post the stills on social media and make artwork out of them. However, you can’t think about selling them for profit. Suzuki also talked that more free images from additional Studio Ghibli movies will become available in the future.

All images include come from Studio Ghibli eight classic movies: “From Up On Poppy Hill, Ponyo, Spirited Away, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya, The Secret World of Arrietty, Tales From Earthsea, When Marnie Was There, and The Wind Rises.”
