Haikyuu!! season 5: Netflix release date, cast and synopsis

Haikyuu is so popular anime series the right now on Netflix. After the season fourth fans also waiting for confirmation news for the season 5 release date.

This is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate.  Also, they release in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to the present. However, this is an anime television series adaptation by Production I.G aired from April 2014 to September 2014. After the first season, the anime season 2 aired from October 2015 to March 2016. Then the third season aired from October 2016 to December 2016. After this successful viewers and fans. Haikyuu!! the season 4 will also premiere in January 2020. Now Netflix pick-up the show for season 5.

Is Haikyuu!! renewed for season 5 on Netflix?

There’s no official confirmation from Netflix. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they wait for a few months. And one of the team members from this anime revealed on Twitter: “Thank you Haikyuu’s animation team for blessing us with this one last Sakusa before the hiatus”.

We expect Haikyuu!! season 5 will probably release in early 2021. When we get to know the exact release date of season 5. We will update you here.

What’s the Haikyuu!! synopsis?

Here’s the official description: 

“Hinata Shouyou is a middle school student, gained a sudden love of volleyball after watching a national championship match on TV. Determined to become like the championship’s star player, a short boy nicknamed “the small giant”, Shouyou joined his school’s volleyball club. Unfortunately, he was the only member and the club didn’t have so much as a place to practice. He didn’t let that deter him, however, and, upon finally acquiring 5 other players in his final year, was able to compete in an actual competition. Also, the only for his team to be unlucky enough to face the championship favorite and its star player, Kageyama Tobio, called “the king of the court”, in the first round. Though Shouyou’s team suffers a crushing defeat, he vows to become better and eventually surpass Kageyama.

Now Shouyou is starting his first year in high school – the very one he had first watched in the national championships. He’s going to join the volleyball team, practice constantly, and wipe the floor with Kageyama the next time they meet on the court. …or at least that’s what Shouyou had planned until he discovers that he and Kageyama are now in the same school. The volleyball team definitely needs their skills, but only if they can stop bickering and learn to work together as teammates.”

What we expect from season 5:

In the last episode of fourth season, we watch the match between Karasuno and Inarizaki begins. Karasuno notices the popularity of their opponents as they step onto the court to deafening cheers from Inarizaki supporters. Miya Atsumu starts off with a powerful serve, but not before he silences the crowd, as any noise affects his ability to focus.

Then they Kageyama and Inarizaki matches will continue for more adventure.
