86 EIGHTY-SIX anime coming with an English dub by Crunchyroll
Asato Asato’s 86 EIGHTY-SIX is a novel series that just premiered on April 10 as an anime adaptation. And today, Crunchyroll also made an announcement on Wednesday that it will stream English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German dubs for the upcoming anime series.
Back in 2020, it was announced that Asato Asato’s 86 EIGHTY-SIX light novel series was being adapted into an anime series. The highly acclaimed light novel series sets in District 86 where every leader goes mad in the stellar year 2148. As it tells a story of war, romance, class and race discrimination, and more, the sci-fi anime adaptation has already taken its place in most anime lovers’ hearts.
Toshimasa Ishii is directing the sci-fi anime at A-1 Pictures and Toshiya Ono is in charge of the series scripts. Tetsuya Kawakami is designing the characters, and Shirogumi is producing the CG. Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto are contributing to the music.
86 EIGHTY-SIX will also release as a split-cour anime and its first half premiered on Tokyo MX and other stations on April 11, 2021. Tokyo MX also broadcasted a special program commemorating the start of the series starring main cast Shōya Chiba and Ikumi Hasegawa, producer Nobuhiro Nakayama and music composer Hiroyuki Sawano back on March 28, 2021. Crunchyroll licensed the series outside of Asia and many fans have been waiting since then for the company to release 86 with its English dub.
And Crunchyroll finally announced on Wednesday that it will come with more language options as well. The anticipated sci-fi anime series will be getting English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German dubs. But more detail of this news will be revealed at a later time, so the company stated.
What is the synopsis of 86 EIGHTY-SIX?

86, Eighty-Six anime series already airing in Japan on April 10,th 2021, on Tokyo MX and will run for two courses rather than continuous. It is currently unknown where and when the series will be streamed in the West.
