Johnny Depp as Gomez in the Tim Burton’s “Addams Family” reboot movie: According to rumors, this is what’s upcoming for the movie set to eventually appear on Netflix. So are you ready for the fresh and new “Addams Family” movie? Some of the confidential sources already confirmed it. Netflix is already working on a live-action reboot of “The Addams Family” series also expected to cast Johnny Depp and Eva Green. Tim Burton and Depp so close when the subject comes to new and fantasy genre movies. They already working together in Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, and Sweeney Todd. However, the duo can’t work together since Dark Shadows in 2012.

We can sure that Johnny Depp and Eva Green are amazing for their new roles. They also show us how their features match each other in “Dark Shadows” (2012). And, Depp’s fans already support him on social media. According to Small Screen, they know this; “Depp is in talks to star as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. It was Tim Burton’s idea. It seems as though Netflix are the ones who have to be convinced.”

Here’s the 1991 version of “The Addams Family” synopsis:

“When a man claiming to be Fester, Gomez Addams’ missing brother, arrives at the Addams’ home, the family is thrilled. But Morticia suspects the man is a fraud because he can’t recall details of Fester’s life. With help from lawyer Tully Alford, “Fester” manages to get the Addams clan evicted from the home.

Gomez realizes that the two are conspiring to swindle the Addams fortune and that he must challenge “Fester.”An evil doctor finds out that Uncle Fester has been missing for 25 years and introduces a fake Fester in an attempt to get the Addams family fortune. Young Wednesday doubts the new Uncle Fester’s sincerity, even as he adapts very well to the strange family. Can the doctor carry out her evil plans?”

“The Addams Family” also created by American cartoonist Charles Addams in 1938. He has had a few more screen iterations over the years including two live-action in television. We expect “The Addams Family” live-action reboot movie will release in 2022.

Should Lily-Rose Depp Be Cast?

Fans have been doing their own fantasy casting for Tim Burton’s upcoming reboot of The Addams Family on Netflix, and one name some fans have suggested for Wednesday Addams would be Lily-Rose Depp. As previously announced, Burton’s series will follow an older Wednesday Addams as a student at Nevermore Academy where she uses her psychic abilities to solve mysteries. Dubbed Wednesday, the series will be Burton’s small screen debut.

No official casting announcements have yet been made for any character on Wednesday, which means fans have been speculating nonstop over who might play the next live-action The Addams Family. One particularly popular choice for Gomez is Oscar Isaac, who voices the family patriarch in the 2019 animated reboot. Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek is another name that’s come up often with fans as a talented actor who also looks the part. Some fans of The Mandalorian have also suggested Pedro Pascal.
