Netflix has released Mindhunter season 2 trailer and premiere date with, including Charles Manson and Son of Sam.

I can’t wait – deep, dark, it’s wonderful.” After that producer and director, David Fincher talks about the new season on during an interview with Elvis Mitchell on KCRW’s The Treatment podcast program. Also, he added you can see new faces, including Damon Herriman as Charles Manson.

This season 2 focus on the Atlanta child murders, refers to the killing of 28 Black children, teens and young adults from 1979-1981 in the Atlanta city.
Here’s the full official synopsis about Mindhunter:
“FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench probe further into the psyches of those who have done the unthinkable. With help from psychologist Wendy Carr, they apply their groundbreaking behavioral analysis to hunting notorious serial killers.
“Two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers. In addition to the Atlanta Child Murders — which took place between 1979 and 1981 — the new season will likely cover Son of Sam and the reappearance of the BTK Killer.” Also, this new season stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Joe Tuttle, Damon Herriman, Albert Jones, Stacey Roca, Michael Cerveris, Lauren Glazier, and Sierra McClain. However, this series is directed by David Fincher (Gone Girl, Zodiac) as well as Andrew Dominik (Killing Them Softly) and Carl Franklin (The Leftovers, House of Cards).
And season 2 will have nine new episodes which the first season had 10 episodes. This might seem short but we can expect long and complex stories. Mindhunter season 2 will premiere on August 16, 2019.
