Mindhunter season 2 premiere date revealed by David Fincher and debut on Netflix on August 16.

I can’t wait – deep, dark, it’s wonderful.” Now the producer and director David Fincher revealed season 2 date on during an interview with Elvis Mitchell on KCRW’s The Treatment podcast show.

Season 2 focuses on Atlanta Child Murders, Charles Manson, and Son of Sam are shows on this new season. These new episodes are set to pick up between 1979 and 1981. Also, here’s the full synopsis for the season 1:

“How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks? In Mindhunter, two FBI agents (Jonathan Groff & Holt McCallany) set out on a sinister investigative odyssey to discover the brutal answers.”

And Fincher added “I got a call from director Andrew Dominik who had seen the first season and said, ‘I’d like to do something with Season 2 and we brought him in. When God gives you a great idea, take it. When we first sat down he said, ‘What is it about this world that seems so American? There is something going on here.’ I said the show is about narcissism. The show is about needing to be seen. ”

Also, the drama-crime series created and written by Joe Penhall with the help of director and producer David Fincher. However, in season 2 Andrew Dominik ve Carl Franklin joins as a director. The main cast including Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallanay, Anna Torv and Hannah Gross.

Mindhunter season 2 will screens on Netflix on August 16, 2019.
