New Cast Members of Stranger Things Season 4 and its Possible Fifth Season
No one can’t say otherwise about how Stanger Things is popular since the first day it released. One of the most beloved and anticipated series manages to keep everyone’s attention even when it’s not currently airing. It’s mostly because it brings lots of questions to its fans’ minds with its amazing content. And those questions keep rising up while waiting. So, we are here to try to answer at least a few of them by providing new faces of Stranger Things season 4 and the possibility for season 5.
We all know that Stranger Things season 4 is currently in production as they also keep teasing us in lots of different ways. And they only make things more wondering by exciting us much more and bringing more questions at the sometimes, that sometimes makes our anxiety running high. On the other hand, waiting also becomes a part of our lives. We are mostly waiting for a new season or news about the beloved show or more somehow. We even wait for Stranger Things season 5 already although season 4 hasn’t been released yet. So let’s take a look at what we got about the series, and remaining and leaving characters with creating a base for the season.
Will there be a season 5 of Stranger Things?
The creator of the beloved Netflix original series, The Duffer Brother has made an interview lately, where they revealed that season 4 would not be the last. So it seems Stranger Things season 5 will be happening as well. In an interview, also David Harbour, Sheriff Hopper, touches on the fifth season endeavor of the show.
“I will tell you in Season 4 and in Season 5, if we’re ever able to film again, there is a lot to be revealed around the complexities of the story, which is really rich, and I’m really excited for you to see. Because we know the ending, you’ll be able to go back and watch it and see, you know, what we were planting in Season 3 that paid off in Season 4 and Season 5,” he says.
On the other side, there was a rumor wandering around earlier that Stranger Things season 5 could be the show’s last season. Furthermore, it’s also said that the show also would be splitting into two parts for its farewell tour, as well. But still, there is also another chance that Netflix might surprise as since it’s known for changing minds when it comes to final parts. It was also said that Lucifer and The Crown were going to finish but they continued anyway, for example. So, there is still hope that we might not have to say goodbye to the show in the end.
To sum up, there isn’t an official announcement for the Stranger Things season 5 release date. But considering unofficial throughputs, it seems really possible to happen as well. We just need to be patient and wait until at least season 4 arrival. Just like we said, it feels like waiting is one of the biggest parts of our relationship with this show anyway.
What about Stranger Things season 4?
Stranger Things season 4 still keeps its main characters as Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Cara Buono.
In addition to them, Netflix announced eight new names joining the cast of Stranger Things season 4, back in November 2020. And 3 names among them will likely have bigger roles than the other newcomers, who are Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, and Eduardo Franco.
Eduardo Franco will be playing Jonathan’s new pizza delivery man friend as Argyle. Joseph Quinn will play as the leader of The Hellfire Club, the Hawkins High D&D club, named Eddie Munson. And, Jamie Campbell Bower will play psychiatric facility worker, Peter Ballard.
The other names of the new cast members are:
Robert Englund will play Victor Creel who is a murderer in a psychiatric facility. Tom Wlaschiha is a Russian guard at the prison where Hopper is being held, Dmitri. Nikola Djuricko is a Russian smuggler, Yuri. Mason Dye as Jason Carver is a popular teen who dates the most popular girl at Hawkins High. Sherman Augustus as Lt. Colonel Sullivan.
