Sid Haig dies at 80, Horror Actor in House of 1000 Corpses

Sid Haig, an icon of the horror genre from films like House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, dies at 80.

The horror movies icon died on Saturday, September 21. He had an unspecified accident two weeks earlier. Sid Haig, who also work with Rob Zombie’s movies (The Devil’s Rejects, House Of 1000 Corpses etc). Haig born in California under the name Sidney Eddy Mosesian, played music in the 1950s, drumming his way to a number four hit single ‘Full House’ with the T-Birds. However, he starred in a lot of movies, especially in the horror genre.

In a statement shared on Sid Haig’s Instagram account, wife Susan L. Oberg wrote this about his death, On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next,” Sid Haig wife, Susan L. Oberg said. “He has returned to the Universe, a shining star in her heavens. He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be. Also, he adored his family, his friends, and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us. “We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected. Sidney Eddie Mosesian. 7/14/39 – 9/21/19. Husband, Fater, Grandfather, Friend.
