A24 has released the new trailer for their upcoming biopic drama film Skin with starring Jamie Bell.
Israeli filmmaker Guy Nattiv winning Oscar earlier this year for Best Live Action Short. Now he is making the first English-language film. This film is based on the real-life story of Bryon Widner in the 2011 documentary Erasing Hate. And this which is about his efforts in removing his numerous racist facial tattoos. Here is the full official synopsis: “A destitute young man, raised by racist skinheads and notorious among white supremacists. After that, he turns his back on hatred and violence to transform his life, with the help of a black activist and the woman he loves.” However, this film world premiere at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival.
This is both written and directed by Israeli filmmaker Guy Nattiv. Also, the cast includes Danielle Macdonald, Vera Farmiga, Daniel Henshall, Louisa Krause, and Bill Camp. Skin will screen in U.S. theaters release on July 26 and on DIRECTV on June 27.
