Coachella Festival in discuss to move to October due to Coronavirus

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2020 has reportedly and in discussing to move to October due to coronavirus outbreak.

There are high-level sources from the Coachella Festival crew that have leaked the festival postponed. Normally this festival was set to take place in Indio, California, on April 10-12 & April 17-19. Now the new dates are expected to be postponed to the weekends between October 9 and October 16. At this festival, nearly 250,000 people attend Coachella each year over two back-to-back weekends at Empire Polo Club. Also, this place is almost two hours outside of California.

But this year there is a huge coronavirus crisis rises worldwide. Coachella’s and Stagecoach organizers now discuss to move and are reportedly in talks to move the festivals to October, according to Billboard magazine website.

Also, Stella Young open a campaign on Change.org and wrote:

“As a highly inclusive community, we are responsible to protect each and every community member, which includes the ones who are elderly, fragile, or the ones who suffer from chronic diseases, cancer, immune system diseases and other forms of disabilities. The lives of these people should not be downplayed. We shouldn’t risk their lives since they have a higher chance of catching COVID-19. We develop critical situations that need to be hospitalized.”

Coachella‘s 2020 lineup from headliners like Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, Lana Del Rey and more artist. We don’t know the last decision. Festival organizers expect them to say something within 48 hours. If they can’t say anything, the 2020 versions of Coachella and Stagecoach will probably be canceled.
