Tool break records with Fear Inoculum and Ænima re-enters Top 10 of Billboard 200

Tool already released the first new song in 13 years, Fear Inoculum single breaks records to enter the Billboard Hot 100 list.

They’re almost ready for the new album coming end of this month. Also, this is a long-awaited Tool’s fifth album for the following 10,000 Days from 2006. However, they release their catalog onto digital platforms to people streaming. Now, the band breaks new records their Ænima album has re-entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 list. In the few days since they’re albums been released, and the songs have racked up almost four million views on Spotify platform.

Also, Billboard releases a statement:

“Closing out the top 10 is a re-entry for Tool’s Ænima at No. 10. The set – which debuted and peaked at No. 2 in 1996 – was released via digital retailers and streaming services for the first time on Aug. 2, along with most of the rock band’s catalog. The album bounds back onto the list with 33,000 equivalent album units earned (up 5,900%), of which 18,000 were in album sales.” Tool’s 1996 album Ænima has taken the spot at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, and they’re reached at No. 2 in ’96.
