Voyagers Trailer Dropped with Teasing More Than A Sci-Fi

So, it’s really happening after all. Grab your glass and be prepared to watch Voyagers movie first trailer. Why? Cause it seems it might give you all a little fever. That’s right, so it’s also most likely you’ll need to chill out after what you are about to be teased. Well, I did.

Lionsgate has officially released the first trailer for sci-fi thriller Voyagers, which has actually been announced back in 2019. With Neil Burger‘s writing and directing, the upcoming movie was described as being “Lord of the Flies” in space. But among that, what I have seen on that trailer promises much more, it seems. Voyagers give really sexy and Euphoria vibes with its powerful, atmosphere filled with neon lighting and reckless behaviors. So let’s dive into this thrilling movie a little more before seeing the trailer.

What is the ‘Voyagers’ synopsis?

Space might seem the place where all bets are off and so you need to do as been said in order to keep up the pattern to be safe. At least, this is what shown off mostly. But, what about other possibilities? Would the traditional ways be still willed if more thrilling ones have been discovered at all?

Voyagers follow around a specially-engineered group of young men and women’s journey to space in order to complete their tasks. Their task is to form a colony on a far-off planet with their mentor Colin Farrell and his wrangling of them. At least, until some point. Cause it also seems that Farrell will lose his control over them, once they figure out the true mystery of their journey. After getting realize their true natures and instincts, there will also be much more than just defiance against Farrell. So the mission descends into madness, as the crew reverts to its most primal state, not knowing if the real threat they face is what’s outside the ship or who they’re becoming inside it.

Official Synopsis:

“With the future of the human race at stake, a group of young men and women, bred for intelligence and obedience, embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet. But when they uncover disturbing secrets about the mission, they defy their training and begin to explore their most primitive natures. As life on the ship descends into chaos, they’re consumed by fear, lust, and the insatiable hunger for power.”

When will Voyagers be released?

The upcoming sci-fi movie is originally scheduled to be released on November 25, 2020. But, it was pulled back due to the pandemic. And now, finally, there is not much left till its release. I can’t know about you but especially after this trailer, I don’t think I could be able to wait much longer. It really gives me the thrill and anticipation. So, Voyagers will be released on April 9th, 2021.

Even if seems like a usual sci-fi that promises an exploration into deep space, you will also find out as soon as you watch the trailer, that is actually not just that.
