This HBO sci-fi drama is adding some new cast members, some new filming locations, and a storyline that’s a bit easier to follow says showrunner Johnathan Nolan. “This is season is a little less of a guessing game and more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers,” Nolan says for EW interview.
Westworld season 3 release date, synopsis and more
Westworld season 2 ended with android, Dolores, escaping the park along with her cyborg companions.
Also, Breaking Bad alum, Aaron Paul will be joining the show for their 3rd season. Paul plays a construction worker in Los Angeles named Caleb who has a strong impact on Dolores. And who along with other hosts experiences major “culture shock” now that she’s in the real world. “Aaron’s character will challenge Dolores’ notions about the nature of humanity,” Nolan says. “He’s the type of person who doesn’t get to go to Westworld.”
However, season 3 also stars Lena Waithe, Marshawn Lynch, and Vincent Cassel. They join Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Talulah Riley, Rodrigo Santoro, and Sir Anthony Hopkins in the series. It’s created for television by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
