This is a Japanese manga series author and illustrator from Koyoharu Gotōge. The first season of the anime adaptation for Demon Slayer (Kimetsu No Yaiba) aired on the April 6th, 2019. Kimetsu no Yaiba started in the 2016’s for the 11th issue from Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump on February 15th, 2016.

Here’s the official description:
“From the earliest times, humanity knows about human-flesh eating monsters, lurking in the darkness to devour an unfortunate soul that does not trust rumors. However, the rumors also mention an elite corps of demon hunters, skilled assassins, killing demons. Demon Slayer focuses on Tanjirou Kamado, who is still very young but is the only man in his family. One day, Tanjirou decides to go down to the local village to make a little money, selling charcoal.
After that, when he also returns back, he becomes an unwilling part of these horrifying rumors: his family is slaughtered and the only survivor, his sister Nezuko, is turned into a demon. For some reason, Nezuko still acts like a human, which is the reason for Tanjirou to join demon slayers and cure his sister. Will he manage to join the elite corps and cure his sister?”
Will Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba renewed for season 2?
There’s no official confirmation from the studio Ufotable. But in February 2020, the Demon Slayer franchise sold more than 40.3 million copies. Also, this included its digital versions and made Demon Slayer one of the best-selling manga series on the worldwide.
We also expect this for season 2:
On the last episode of the first season, Tanjiro and the others are devoted to their rehabilitation training, the absolute master of the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji gathers the Lower Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki. The demons, too, are preparing to make their next move. As training draws to a close, Tanjiro has improved to the point where he can fight on equal terms with Kanao. Then, he also receives word of a new mission from his Kasugai Crow. Now we can expect they start another mission on season 2.
