Cyberpunk 2077 is coming with new free DLCs in 2021. Although there is not much information about DLCs, we have prepared what we know so far.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released early next year with free DLCs, as discovered in a new update on the game’s official website. CD Projekt RED has not yet released a specific release date for DCLs, but according to information recently discovered, they will release DLCs for free in early 2021.
That the game had many bugs because of its early release caused it to receive bad review points. However, the new DLCs to come are free has made the game lovers happy. In fact, they published the first information about DLCs in the Cyberpunk 2077 launch trailer on December 8. At the end of the game trailer, he was giving us a few tips.
“But before we get there, we’ll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that’ll inject even more life into the world of the dark future.” CD Projekt’s message reads.
What will the Cyberpunk 2077 DLCs be about?
CD Projekt RED has disclosed little information yet. However, if we look at the company’s statements and DLCs of past games, we can make a few guesses.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt previously had two paid major story expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine DLCs. We are not sure if a free story expansion will come for Cyberpunk 2077. However, we think CD Projekt RED will get 1 story expansion to regain its reputation and keep the players happy.
In addition, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received 16 different free DLCs. These were armor sets, new animations, alternative characters, and minor side missions. So if Cyberpunk 2077 follows this template, you can probably expect more of the same.
