Hip-Hop Evolution season 3 confirms to Netflix in September 2019

Netflix has renewed Hip-Hop Evolution Season 3 music documentary series.

If you’re a rap music fan you must watch this doc-series. In this series, you can rediscovery of hip-hop’s substantial origins. Also, you see too many things with big-budget Baz Luhrmann musical The Get Down and the Stretch and Bobbito doc. This four-part series follows Shad Kaboango who is an MC and music journalist. However, covering the biggest names in hip-hop over the past few decades. And we see how he impact on this music genre.

The first season of the show first premiered on Netflix on December 2016 and after that Season 2 premiered on October 2018. Now we can watch season 3 a few weeks later.

Here’s the official synopsis about this doc:

A four-part tutorial on the origins of hip-hop in 1970s New York City and how it developed over the next two decades features interviews with legendary MCs and rappers; and visits to iconic landmarks and neighborhoods.” Also, this doc-series was written by Rodrigo Bascunan and directed by Darby Wheeler with co-director Sam Dunn, Scot McFadyen. We already watch some artist featured like DJ Kool, Run-DMC, Ice-T, 2 Live Crew, Notorious Big, Wu-Tang Clan, The Sugarhill Gang.

However, this documentary goes from rap’s New York City and disco origins, through the West Coast’s in the early ’90s. Hip-Hop Evolution Season 3 will drop on Netflix globally on September 6th, 2019.
