This new spin-off series post-apocalyptic horror drama series created by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete. The second spin-off series to The Walking Dead also based on the comic book series of the same title by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. And, this new series will consist of two 10-episodes.
Normally, this new spin-off was launched in April 2020. But due to pandemic AMC postponed the release date for Fall 2020.

What’s the synopsis of ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’ series?
Here’s the official description from AMC:
“The cast and creators introduce the kids at the core of the new series in The Walking Dead universe and discuss what to expect from the first generation to grow up in the apocalypse. ”

So, Matt Negrete talks about this spin-off:
“All of the first season is in the can, it’s all ready to be aired. We are in the midst of, the writers and I, working on season 2 right now. We’re in the thick of it. We were lucky in that we were able to wrap post-production right around the time everything shut down because of the COVID situation. So yeah, season one in the can and season two in progress.”
