Mira Furlan the Actress of “Lost” and “Babylon 5” Dies in Her 65

Mira Furlan was best known for one of the science fiction old tv series “Babylon 5”. Alongside her best-known role “Delenn” for Babylon 5, she appeared in one of the American drama series “Lost”.

During her career with multiple successes, she also appeared in some award-winning movies. Croatian actor and singer Furlan was fluent in English, German, and French. What about her singer experience, she appeared with one of rock band ”Film” for Le Cinema as a singer.

The famous actress died in her 65 and sad news of her death was revealed on Furlan’s Twitter account and also the creator of Babylon 5’s J. Michael Straczynski pays tribute.

Straczynski wrote in the tweet:

“It is a night of great sadness, for our friend and comrade had gone down the road where we cannot reach her. Mira was a good and kind woman, a stunningly talented performer, and a friend to everyone in the cast and crew of Babylon 5, and we are all devastated by the news.

But as with all things, we will catch up with her in time, and I believe she will have many stories to tell us, and many new roles to share with the universe. We’ve known for some time now that Mira’s health was failing… and have been all dreading this day.”

On Furlan’s official Twitter account, a message from the actress was shared today (January 22, 2021). In the message, there is a small quote that belongs to Furlan appeared. The quote was said about her death on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021.

Mira Furlan wrote on the quote before her death:

“I look at the stars.  It’s a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That’s where I’ll be going soon. ‘We’re all star stuff,’ I currently remember Delenn’s line from Joe’s script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. ”

She added:

“In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That’s all.”
