IT’S OK – A portable Bluetooth cassette tape player with Bluetooth 5.0
This week the company NINM Lab introduced “the world’s first Bluetooth portable cassette player” IT’S OK on Kickstarter.
Anyone who grew up in the ’80s or ’90s remembers the Sony Walkman. The portable cassette player (CD player in later versions) that allowed you to jam out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers while waiting at the bus stop, without any kind of internet connection required. Unrestricted enjoyment of music. Crazy right? Today’s music player devices are almost all digital and are usually played from a “cloud” (which requires internet). The analog devices seemed to have faded away into the consumer culture abyss. That was until now.
The IT’S OK cassette player has Bluetooth built-in, allowing you to listen to your music wirelessly. You also have the option to use wired headphones if you’re really feeling nostalgic.
Diehard cassette fans are turning to this modern retro tech as the company is picking up steam on Kickstarter. The device comes in 3 colors to choose from “Sakura” pink, “Cloud” white, and “Evening” navy blue. Also, the compact design of IT’S OK, from color selection to the transparent cover, is inspired by the classic design of the cassette players.
