Netflix’s The Protector Season 2 First Official Trailer and Release Date

Netflix has released the first official trailer for The Protector season 2 series from Turkey.

The first season of Hakan: Muhafız (The Protector) was released in December 2018. About 10 million people watched the first season. Here is the full synopsis about the first season: “Discovering his ties to a secret ancient order. A young man living in modern Istanbul embarks on a quest to save the city from an immortal enemy.” On the second season for this series will continue with new 8 episodes. However, season 3 and 4 already announced by Netflix.

The Protector season 2 Netflix release date, cast, trailer, plot

First season lead cast includes Çağatay Ulusoy, Okan Yalabık, Ayça Ayşin Turan, Mehmet Kurtuluş, and Hazar Ergüçlü. Also, there are new cast members Engin Öztürk, Boran Kuzum, Saygın Soysal, and Burçin Terzioğlu for season 2. The official synopsis of the new season is as follows: “Facing formidable odds against the resurgent Immortals. Hakan and the Loyal Ones must forestall sinister plans to destroy the city and all humans.” In addition, the new season is directed by Umut Aral, Gönenç Uyanık, and Gökhan Tiryaki.
