Pokemon is one of the most popular brands in the world and the owner of this legacy is Satoshi Tajiri. Pokemon is 25 years old right now and is celebrating its anniversary. Many cartoons, games, movies, and many other commercial activities have been made about this fantastic world that grows with us. Is it time for music?
Pokemon shared a special video to celebrate its 25th anniversary on Youtube, and we see Popstar Katy Perry at the end of the video. Pokemon and Katy Perry are collaborating for this special anniversary and we wonder what will happen in the future.
In an announcement through People earlier today, the partnership said there will be “surprise global activations” in their collaboration throughout the year.
Katy Perry also spoke about the collaboration: “I love being a part of anything that is playful and is good storytelling and has really good messages to share with the world.”
Katy also went to Japan when she was pregnant and visited the Pokemon Cafe. Popstar describes her days in Japan as follows: “I was pregnant when I was there actually, little did I know! It was amazing. It brought up all these wonderful childhood memories. I’ve been going to Japan since I was 17 every year and have always really loved everything that’s been created there.”
Perry says she always related most to Pikachu. “I’m really attached to the hero. I know there are others in the game, but I just found Pikachu to be really cute,” she says.
