Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Anime Release to Netflix in 2021
Netflix reveals the upcoming anime ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness‘ coming in 2021. This is to announce before deleted via Netflix Portugal’s official Twitter account.
We just shared an article which video game adaptation coming to Netflix. And, also Resident Evil one of them. Now, this news officially shared via Netflix Portugal’s social media account and says movie and series projects coming out in the near future. This announcement matches with a Resident Evil panel at the Tokyo Game Show (part of CAPCOM) that took place on September 27th, 2020.
In this panel, they also shared a teaser of Resident Evil 8 means a new video game franchise.

On September 27th, the NXonNetflix Twitter account posted the full trailer for this upcoming anime.
The upcoming anime movie and TV series project come with Netflix extends many titles. This service also out with accompanying anime titles such as ‘The Witcher‘ acquiring an anime spin-off.
What’s the synopsis of ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness’ anime?
Here’s the official description from Netflix:
“The upcoming anime is scheduled for a global launch in 2021 exclusively on Netflix. Three years after 2017’s CG film RE: Vendetta, technology has further evolved, creating the groundwork for a new series in unprecedented full 3DCG animation. Since the first game was released in 1996 on Sony PlayStation, the series is nearing its 25th anniversary. With the series continuing to evolve even now, a new title carves itself into the series’ history.”
Also, this anime produced and supervised by Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi. TMS Entertainment, which has created various anime series, will produce the anime series, while Quebico, led by Kei Miyamoto.
And, there’s the 3DCG animation production the producer of Vendetta. This will be a horror-action series based around the stories of the two popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
