After the premiering at Toronto International Film Festival last year. There’s been a long wait to watch ‘Sound of Metal‘ movie. Normally, Amazon Studios had to rethink their schedules because of the ongoing pandemic and will release this drama on this Fall 2020.
What’s the synopsis of ‘Sound of Metal’ movie?
Here’s the official description for this upcoming music drama:
“In this movie lead character, Ruben is a drummer and one half of the duo ‘Blackgammon’ music band along with his singer girlfriend Lou (Olivia Cooke). A former drug addict, he is sober for four years. Suddenly, he begins to lose his hearing.
His sponsor also makes him go meet Joe (Paul Raci), who leads a deaf community. With help from them, Ruben struggles to accept his situation.”
This movie supporting cast members also include Lauren Ridloff and Mathieu Amalric. Also, Derek Cianfrance’s story screenplay with Darius Marder, Abraham Marder. This movie also getting amazing reviews, especially about sound design.
