SYFY has released the first official The Banana Splits trailer for their upcoming cult program with horror contents.
This film will bring back the classic kids program first introduced to audiences in 1968. The Banana Splits Adventure Hour program based on Sid and Marty Krofft. Also, these two names The Kroffts are famous for their kids’ series The Bugaloos, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and Land of the Lost with varieties shows. This movie trailer looks like awkward visuals, low budget aesthetic, and some horror contents.

Here is the full official synopsis The Banana Splits:
“This movie will offer a new take on the classic characters, which were first introduced to audiences in 1968 with a classic variety program. In the upcoming horror thriller, a boy named Harley and his family (brother Austin, mother Beth and father Mitch) attends a taping of this tv-show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley and business as usual for Rebecca, the producer of the series. But things take an unexpected turn. And the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom, and their new pals safely escape?”
In this upcoming horror movie include a few famous casts. The main cast also stars Dani Kind as Beth, Finlay Wojtak-Hissong as Harley, Romeo Carere as Austin, Steve Lund as Mitch, and Sara Canning as Rebecca. Also, directed by Danishka Esterhazy and written by Jed Elinoff, Scott Thomas.
The Banana Splits coming to Blu-Ray/DVD this Summer 2019 and premiering on SYFY soon.
