The Mandalorian trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series
Disney Plus and Lucasfilm have released the trailer for The Mandalorian from the upcoming from their live-action Star Wars series.
D23 Expo 2019, Disney makes a big announcement about their streaming service. In these events, they introduce for what’s coming with this new Disney+. This spin-off series tells the stories after the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. In this first trailer, there is a hint at a post-“Return of the Jedi” galaxy far, far away. Also shows off stormtrooper helmets plastered on stakes. And small shots includes of the desert, a likely nod to either Jakku or Tatooine.
The Mandalorian release date, synopsis, and cast
Here’s the full synopsis:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.” Also, Jon Favreau interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “In this series opportunity to tell a story that’s bigger than television, but you don’t have the same expectations that a big holiday release has, which to me isn’t that type of ‘Star Wars’ that comes out of me.”
The main cast includes Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. Jon Favreau works as executive producer and creator for the series.
