The Witcher Season 2 First Scene Revealed by Netflix
Netflix has been teasing part of ‘The Witcher‘ season 2 lately. Nothing can make us more curious. Hold on because we even have more to spoil us. A sneak peek of the first scene has just been revealed by Netflix.
Netflix has posted the first page of the Season 2 script on Twitter as an ”Witchmas” gift for all the fans of The Witcher.
The script tells us a new character called Colin Coppercloth and mentions a lone inn on a hill and a fast-moving creature. Creepy enough.
There is a merchant (Colin Coppercloth), his wife, and his daughter looking around for somewhere to stay in a small mountain town while Geralt brooding over the top and says ”You dogged my every footstep. But struck down others I passed on my way. Why?”.
In silence, Coppercloth goes to an inn and gets no response. Suddenly, he hears a loud scream then finds that his wife is gone and his daughter covered in blood.
Coppercloth starts to run over to his carriage however he is attacked by a monster who pulls him away to his death. Then Geralt says: ”I was meant to end up alone, wasn’t I? So I would finally begin to be afraid?”
Witcher fans around everywhere are saying that the scene may be setting up one of Andrzej Sapkowski’s best Witcher short stories “A Grain of Truth” (the third story in “The Last Wish” and the first book in The Witcher series).
Season 2 of The Witcher is currently filming, but (Geralt of Rivia) Henry Cavill has a short break to recover from his minor leg muscle injury. Wish to see him better soon.
