20th Century Fox has released the trailer for sci-fi film Ad Astra starring Brad Pitt go to space for answers.

Here we are ready for another sci-fi film. This story about, astronaut Roy McBride travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his father. His father missing for several years. Also, who went missing on a mission 16 years prior and whose ship contains material that could threaten to end life. For the first trailer, we see Brad Pitt falling down from the near space. If you’re wondering about Brad Pitt‘s age, he is 55 years old.

After that, he wakes up in the hospital. Then get ready for a rescue mission. Here is the official synopsis for Ad Astra:

“Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.”

Also, this film stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland. And directed by James Gray (The Immigrant and The Lost City of Z) with co-written by Ethan Gross. There’s a little bit a chance for stakes Interstellar or Gravity at the box office.

Ad Astra hits in theaters on September 20th from Walt Disney Studios.
