Meet the Band Members of Gizmodrome

Some artists are only associated with one band, while others are linked to several bands. In some cases, a band splits, and its members join other bands, or they decide to switch genres and go separate ways, but there are also situations where artists choose to become part of two groups at the same time. When a band is formed that consists of experienced artists from several other bands, it is often referred to as a supergroup. One example of a supergroup is Gizmodrome, which is a band formed in Milan, Italy, in 2017. There are four band members who are all highly experienced performers with long histories in the music industry. Here is a chance to meet the band members of Gizmodrome.

Stewart Copeland

Stewart Copeland is a musician and composer who is also known as Klark Kent. He was born in Virginia on July 16, 1952, and began his career in 1974. Stewart Copeland is a drummer and vocalist for Gizmodrome. Copeland is best known for being the drummer of the Police, an English rock band that was formed in 1977, although he has collaborated with many other artists during his career. Rolling Stone ranked Copeland as the 10th best drummer of all time in 2016. In addition to his work with the Police, Copeland has worked as a composer throughout his career. Although he is associated with rock music, Copeland’s composing work has covered many music genres, including writing pieces for opera, orchestra, and ballet. The musician has also composed tracks for multiple films. Some of these include ‘We Are Your Friends, ‘Good Burger,’ and ‘Wall Street’. The television series he has composed music for include ‘Spyro,’ ‘Alone in the Dark 4,’ ‘The Equalizer,’ ‘The Amanda Show,’ and ‘Dead Like Me.’ In his personal life, Copeland started dating Sonja Kristina, the Curved Air vocalist, in 1974, and they were married from 1982 to 1991. She had a son, Sven, from a previous relationship that Copeland adopted. The former couple then had another two sons together, Scott and Jordan. Copeland then had a son, Patrick, with Marina Guinness. Copeland is now married to Fiona Dent, with whom he has three children, Eve, Dylan, and Celeste. The couple lives in Los Angeles. In his free time, Copeland enjoys polo, filmmaking, rollerskating, and cycling on the beach.

Mark King

Mark King is a musician, singer, and songwriter who was born on the Isle of Wight on October 20, 1958. He is a bassist and vocalist for Gizmodrome. King began his career in 1979, and he is best known as the lead singer and bassist of the jazz-funk band Level 42. King has also had a solo career and collaborated with many artists on music of various genres. As a solo artist, Mark King released five studio albums. The musician has won multiple awards throughout his career. These include the Outer Limits award at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards and a BASCA Gold Badge Award in recognition of his contribution to British music. King has been married twice. With his first wife, Pia, King has one son, D’Arcy, and two daughters, Jolie and Florrie. He is now married to Ria, and their daughter, Marlee, was born in 1996. They live on the Isle of Wight. In the 1990s, Mark King bought a pub in Ryde, Isle of Wight. However, he sold the pub to a pub franchise with businesses on the south coast of England in 2000. King is a tourism ambassador for the Isle of Wight.

Vittorio Cosma

Vittoria Cosma is a pianist, keyboardist, producer, conductor, and arranger who was born in Varese, Italy, on March 11, 1965. Cosma is a keyboardist and vocalist for Gizmodrome. He studied music at the Milan Conservatory and under Patrizio Fariselli and Franco D’Andrea before beginning his career in the music industry in the early 1980s. At the beginning of his career, Cosma was the keyboardist for the bands Premiata Forneria Marconi and Volpini Volanti. In the 1980s, Cosma also began his career as a composer, arranger, and producer when he was involved in Eugenio Finardi’s album ‘Il Vento di Elora.’ Around the same time, Cosma composed scores for television series, commercials, and films. He also curated various compilation albums of fusion and jazz music. Throughout his career, Vittorio Cosma has collaborated with various artists and musical groups. These include Elio e le Storie Tese, Ricchi e Poveri, Pino Daniele, Grazia Di Michele, Ornella Vanoni, Nino Buonocore, Renato Zero, Teresa De Sio, Ivano Fossati, Enrico Ruggeri, Robert Vecchioni, and Mike Francis. Cosma also collaborated with Stewart Copeland prior to forming Gizmodrome.

Adrian Belew

Adrian Belew is a musician, songwriter, and record producer who was born in Kentucky on December 23, 1949. He is a guitarist and vocalist for Gizmodrome. Although he is a multi-instrumentalist, he is primarily known as a guitarist and singer. He is recognized as being an extremely versatile player. Although he has performed with many acts, he is best known for being a guitarist in the progressive rock group King Crimson between 1981 and 2009. In his early career, Belew was in the pop band the Bears, and he also fronted his own band, GaGa. Throughout his career, Adrian Belew has worked as a session and touring musician. He has spent periods of his career with bands and artists, including David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Laurie Anderson, Talking Heads, and Nine Inch Nails. Belew has also contributed to hit singles by multiple acts, including Tom Tom Club and Paul Simon. In addition to his work with other artists and bands, Adrian Belew has enjoyed a successful solo career. Some of his hits include the 1989 single ‘Oh Daddy’ and the 2005 song ‘Beat Box Guitar.’ The latter was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Alongside his music career, Adrian Belew has been involved in various other ventures. He has designed multimedia and instruments and also designed two IOS mobile apps.
