In one of the verses, Rick Ross says, “I multiplied my hustle, stimulated my mind, motivated my niggas now we never divide” which is a clear show of his entrepreneurial spirit.

9. Santorini Greece

 

This song saw Rick Ross head out to Greece to shoot the video whose song lyrics were inspired by the stunning landscape of Santorini in Greece. “Santorini Greece” is the second song from the album, Rather You Than Me (2017). The lyrics also touch on sensitive topics such as racism, drug dealing and hustling. You can hate Rick Ross or love him, but there is no doubt that he knows how to choose a beat.

8. Touch ‘N You ft Usher

 

“Touch ‘N You” was the first single to be released following news of the release of Rick Ross’s album, God Forgives, I Don’t. The song features guest vocals from non other than Usher. The video of the song features Tae Heckard who plays the role of Rick Ross’s leading lady while Omarion, DJ Khaled and Wale also feature in the music video.

7.The Devil is A Lie ft Jay-Z

 

2013 was a great year for Rick Ross despite him pushing the release date for Mastermind. He capped a great year with a great collaboration with Jay-Z in the song, “The Devil is A Lie.” In this track, Rick Ross and Jay-Z spit out some of the best verses. The song is also accompanied by an equally impressive video.

Before the release of the song, Rick Ross warned that the song would cause a lot of problems which it obviously did. The song runs for four and a half minutes as Ross talks about his life as well as an attack on a few people.

The number five song on our list is the platinum certified song from Rick Ross’ second studio album, Trilla. The song also happens to be his highest charting song thus far, peaking at number 17 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The production of the song is quite excellent with great beats and hard hitting rhymes that you can bump to anytime.

4. Idols Become Rivals

 

When this song came out in 2017, Lil Wayne gave thanks to Rick Ross in a heartfelt message posted on his Twitter account. “Idols Become Rivals” sees Rick Ross taking on Birdman for his shady business practices and how he has treated Lil Wayne over the years. Despite the pair being friends, Rick Ross admitted that they had fallen out due to Birdman’s treatment of Lil Wayne in their much publicid beef that lasted several years. The title of this song is inspired by Drake’s line in 2010 song, “Thank Me Now” which features the line, “That your idols become your rivals.”

3. Hustlin

 

“Hustlin” is the song that is credited to have thrusted Rick Ross into the limelight. The song made him a instant sensation, drawing interest from the likes of Bad Boy Entertainment and Murder Inc.. The song is used as a soundtrack in the video game, Skate and is also featured in the comedy films, We’re the Millers and Identity Thief. The song peaked at number 54 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

2. Aston Martin Music ft. Drake & Chrisette Michele

 

Like the title of the song suggests, this song was produced with ultimate luxury in mind. The song interpolates from LL Cool J’s 1987 song, “I Need Love.” and features lyrics that depict music playing in your two seater luxurious car as you ride with your favorite female. The song contains an incredible beat from Rook of J.U.S.T.I.C.E League. Although the initial song contained Drake on the chorus, the remix version which had a music video had Drake on the verse. “Aston Martin Music” topped the US Billboard Hot Rap Songs for 18 weeks and is arguably one of Rick Ross greatest songs.

1. Blowin’ Money Fast

 

The number one song on our list of the top ten Rick Ross songs is arguably his greatest song in his career. With an acronym similar to to the thuggish Black Mafia Family, this boombastic song contains lyrics that depict Rick Ross’ money blowing ways. The song is contained in his second studio album, Teflon Don and features Styles P, who does the last verse. The song peaked at position 60 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was ranked fourth on MTV News Songs of 2010.
