Black Lightning Season 4 Release Date and How To Watch Live

At the beginning of February, The CW announced for some popular shows to air on the platform and Black Lightning was one of them! The season was ordered in January 2020. And today, the fourth season of Black Lightning is premiering on The CW. Besides giving you the good news, we are sorry to say that season 4 is the final season of the series.

This American television series is based on the DC Comics character Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning. The season is produced by Berlanti Productions, Akil Productions, Warner Bros. Television, and DC Entertainment.

The executive producer Salim Akil talked in a statement to Variety; “When we first started the Black Lightning journey, I knew that Jefferson Pierce and his family of powerful Black Women would be a unique addition to the superhero genre. “The love that Blerds and all comic book fans around the globe have shown this series over the past three seasons because it proved what we imagined. Black People Want To See Themselves in all their complexities.”

How and when to watch ‘Black Lightning’ Season 4?

The new season premieres tonight, February 8, at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW. The newest and final season will air with all of the seasons on Netflix U.S. 8 days after being on The CW. There isn’t an official release date for Netflix but rumors are said to be true! When it comes to the streaming platform Hulu, season 4 won’t be available.

We have one more good news to give you, season 4 episodes will be available to stream for free on The CW App and CW.com the morning after it airs on television.

What is the synopsis of season 4?

The series continues following Jefferson, who is now a high school counselor as the superhero Black Lightning. He fights against local corruption in his community of Freeland.
