There are a lot of people who are just now hearing of Fredo Bang, but he’s actually been rapping for nearly a decade. The upcoming artist has made quite a name for himself over the last several years, and his fan base has grown tremendously. Fredo Bang is currently signed to Def Jam Records and in 2020, he released his debut album, Most Hated. Things have only gone up for him from there and the future is looking bright for him. His melodic sound gives him a unique edge and his raw lyrics are relatable to a lot of his listeners. 1. He’s A Lousiana Native
Fredo Bang was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana which is located less than 90 minutes away from New Orleans. He has nothing but love for his city and though things weren’t always easy for him there, he appreciates all the lessons it taught him. It’s unclear if Fredo still lives in the Baton Rouge area.
2. His Cousin Is A Famous Rapper
Fredo Bang isn’t the only person in his family who was drawn to making music. He is the younger cousin of legendary Louisiana rapper, Lil Boosie. However, he has never mentioned exactly how the two are related. Despite being in the same industry, the two have never worked on any music together.
3. He’s Had Trouble With The Law
Fredo Bang’s journey definitely hasn’t been smooth sailing. He has faced some serious legal issues including attempted murder and several other charges in 2016 which have resulted in him being on parole until 2023. He was only 19 years old when he caught the charge
4. He Was In The School Band
Rap isn’t the only experience Fredo has with music. He was also in the school band for several years playing the clarinet and the French horn. He even earned a scholarship but decided to turn it down because he wanted to be there for his mother while she went through a divorce.

Even though Fredo believes in God, he doesn’t consider himself to be religious. During an interview with The Breakfast Club, he said, “The Bible contradicts itself over and over”. However, he is still a very spiritual person and he feels very blessed to have gotten lots of great opportunities over the years.
6. He Stepped Up To Be A Father Figure After A Friend’s Death
Fredo Bang doesn’t have any children of his own, but that hasn’t stopped him from fathering in his own way. After the death of his friend and fellow rapper, Da Real Gee Money, Fredo promised to always be there for his children. So far, he has been making good on that promise.
7. He Has A Clothing Company
Rap is definitely Fredo’s main focus, but he’s also getting into the entrepreneurial side of things. He started a company called Bang Biz Clothing where he sells a variety of clothing and other accessories. Many of his items feature images of his face or his stage name. Kevin Gates is one of the biggest rappers to ever come out of Louisiana and Fredo Bang has always been a fan of his music. Fredo loves the way Kevin shook things up by singing on tracks. Fredo also credits Kevin with welcoming him into the industry and being the first artist to ever share his music on social media.
9. Krazy Trey Got Him Into Rapping
We don’t know exactly when Fredo started rapping, but we do know how he got into it. Fredo started making music thanks to a friend of his named Krazy Trey who was also a rapper. One day Fredo got on the mic for fun, and Trey recognized that he has some real talent. Sadly, Trey was the victim of a homicide in 2014.

Over the last couple of years, OnlyFans has become extremely popular. The premium content platform allows people to put their exclusive content behind a paywall and charge a monthly subscription fee.
