Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli Announces First 3D Movie “Earwig and The Witch”
Goro Miyazaki‘s first 3D Movie ‘Earwig and The Witch‘ releases a new trailer. Miyazaki is known for ‘From Up on Poppy’ and ‘Tales from Earthsea’ movie.
Goro Miyazaki, the son of Hayao Miyazaki, tries something different from the anime movies he released in 2006 and 2011. Miyazaki, who will release a 3D movie for the first time, shared information about the movie and new trailers.

Earwig and The Witch, featuring a little girl Aya as the lead character, was adapted from the book of the same name by Dianna Wynne Jones. The author is also known as the author of the book based on the classic movie Howl’s Moving Castle. The plot of the book is as follows: Earwig is a girl who lives in the Home for Children orphanage in Morwald. She is adopted by a woman named Bella Yaga. Bella Yaga is actually an evil witch, and Earwig now has to live with the magical trinkets in her home. Earwig must now come up with ideas to get out of this situation with the help of a talking cat.
