First look at House of the Dragon
We see the attention to detail in stunning costumes and some characters from the series in the photos that HBO shared.
Above are Alicent Hightower and his father Otto Hightower. They are respectively played by Olivia Cooke and Rhys Ivans. Otto Hightower is known as “The Hand of the King” and he loyally serves his kingdom. His comely daughter Alicent was raised in the king’s inner circle, thus she has both a courtly grace and political attitude.
This is Lord Corlys Velaryon, portrayed by Steve Touissant. He is known as “The Sea Snake”. The character is a famous sea adventurer who claims the biggest navy in the whole world.
Those two are Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Prince Daemon Targaryen. Rhaenyra is the first offspring of King Viserys Targaryen and she’s pure Valyrian blood, while also being a dragon rider. Daemon, on the other hand, is the younger brother of Viserys. Prince is the current heir to the throne. Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith play those characters, respectively.
