What’s new and coming to Netflix in October 2019

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Release date: October 11

Cast: Aaron Paul, Matt Jones, Jonathan Banks, and Charles Baker

Synopsis:

In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future. This gripping thriller is written and directed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad.

Peaky Blinders season 5

Release date: October 4

Cast: Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory

Synopsis: 

Now it’s some situations are changing and season 5 explores the notions that violence destroys lives, empires rise and fall over time, and class divisions are corrosive. Also, in this new season finds the thrown into turmoil by the financial crash. However, when Tommy Shelby MP is reaching by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realizes that his response will impact not only the future of his family but that of the entire nation.

Big Mouth season 3

Release date: October 4

Cast: Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Andrew Goldberg

Synopsis: 

In Season 3, Big Mouth focuses on what’s like to be going through puberty now. The show continues exploring human sexuality and everything around it, tackling issues such as cell phone addiction, female anger, the vast spectrum of sexuality, Adderall abuse, dick pics, toxic masculinity, and of course “how to have an orgasm.” As the end of seventh grade rapidly approaches, Thandie Newton shakes things up as Missy’s new Hormone Monstress, and Ali Wong joins the cast as a new student who makes everyone at Bridgeton Middle question their sexuality. The season culminates with a superhero showdown that brings long-simmering tensions to a head and tests even the strongest friendships.

The Laundromat

Cast: Gary Oldman, Meryl Streep, Sharon Stone, Melissa Rauch, David Schwimmer

Synopsis: 

When her idyllic vacation takes an unthinkable turn, Ellen Martin begins investigating a fake insurance policy, only to find herself down a rabbit hole of questionable dealings that can be linked to a Panama City law firm and its vested interest in helping the world’s wealthiest citizens amass larger fortunes. Founding partners Jürgen Mossack and Ramón Fonseca are experts in the seductive ways shell companies and offshore accounts help the rich and powerful prosper. They are about to show us that Ellen’s predicament only hints at the tax evasion, bribery, and other illicit absurdities that the super-wealthy indulge in to support the world’s corrupt financial system.
