Lil Durk’s Relationships

Nicole Covone

Throughout his career, Lil Durk has been private about many aspects of his personal life. However, when it comes to his romantic relationships he’s been somewhat of an open book. Prior to becoming famous, Durk was in a relationship with a woman named Nicole Covone who is the mother of his first two children. The couple started seeing each other when they were teenagers and eventually got married. Durk and Nicole divorced some time around 2013.

Dej Loaf

In 2014, rumors began to circulate that Durk was dating fellow rapper, Dej Loaf. The two were also making music together and even kissed during some of their performances. While it is largely reported that the two were a legitimate couple, many believe that they were essentially pretending to be in a relationship as a way to sell more records. By the end of 2016, the two had gone their separate ways both personally and professionally although it appears that they’ve remained on good terms.

India Royle

Lil Durk and India Royle started dating in 2017. In an interview in 2020, India shared that it was love at first sight when she met Durk. Although the couple has had some public disputes over the years, there are widely considered goals among the hip-hop community. They have shown time and time again that they are dedicated to making their relationship to work and they aren’t worried about what anyone has to say about it. Some sources have suggested that Durk and India are married although this has yet to be officially confirmed or denied.

How Many Kids Does Lil Durk Have?

There seems to be some confusion across the internet when it comes to how many children Lil Durk has. If you try to find the number on Google, you’ll probably realize that different sources reported different numbers. As of May 2021, however, it appears that Lil Durk has a total of seven children with women.

As mentioned earlier, Lil Durk’s first two children were with his ex-wife, Nicole Covone. His oldest son, Angelo, was born in 2011 and his oldest daughter, Bella, was born in 2013. Durk’s third child, Zayden, was also born in 2013. You don’t have to be a biology expert to figure out that Durk had clearly been with someone else during his marriage with Nicole which is likely a huge part of what led to their divorce. Zayden’s mother’s identity has never been revealed to the public.

Lil Durk’s fourth and fifth children, Du’mier and Skyler, were born in 2014. Their mothers’ identities have never been revealed and there isn’t much information on the children. His sixth child, Willow, was born in 2018 from his relationship with India Royale.

We do know that Durk has a 7th child, although their identity seems to be a bit of a mystery. In an Instagram post in March 2021, Durk said, “Who needs friends when you got 7 kids”. One thing we do know about this child, however, is that they aren’t from Durk’s relationship with India.

It’s unclear exactly what kind of relationship Durk has with his children. He doesn’t post them often on social media, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t active in their real lives. In reality, we probably won’t know too much about his kids until they get old enough to start posting on social media and sharing their own stories.

Does Lil Durk Plan To Have More Kids?

As of now, Durk has not mentioned whether or not he wants to have more kids in the future. Based on the number of kids he already has, however, it doesn’t seem like he’d be opposed to growing his family. That being said, Durk is only 28 years old and he already has a lot of responsibility, so no one would blame him if he doesn’t want more kids.
