Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford encourages metal fans to get vaccinated

Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford shared a video on Instagram in which he emphasized the importance of getting vaccinated.

Everyone wants everything to be back in order, but that’s especially the case for musicians. It’s very hard to perform live shows, and it shows as many bands like Rammstein and RATM reschedule their tours. Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford acknowledges this being the case and urges the metalheads to get vaccinated if they haven’t done yet. You can watch the Instagram video Rob Halford shared below, and check out what he had to say about the topic.

Rob Halford talks about the importance of being vaccinated

“Hi everyone. This is your metal god, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, sending you a massive shoutout of thanks to our metal community for doing the right thing by getting the life-saving vaccine that will eventually eradicate COVID-19 around the world,” Halford says. Then he goes on to talk about the idea of unity.

“One thing we’re proud about in metal is that we not only stand together united for our music but also for each other.

You know, common sense states that by having the jab, we’re opening up one of the most important areas that we have so desperately missed, which is being sided by side, horns way up at clubs, theaters, arenas, and festivals where who we are and what we live for is tangible and real with the bands we love. So let’s get those amazing vibes and feelings back faster.”

Halford finally urges the metalheads to step up to get vaccinated and says that all the bands are made complete by playing live.

“I urge those of us who have not yet been vaccinated to please step up. Judas Priest and all bands everywhere are made complete by playing live for our fans. You can learn more about the COVID-19 vaccines at MadeToSave.org.”

Rob Halford earlier showed the utmost importance he attached to vaccination by sharing his record card on March 23.
