Lion King 2019 First Full Trailer Release for Disney’s Live-Action Remake

Walt Disney Pictures has released the first full trailer for The Lion King live-action from Jon Favreau.

Simba, Nala and all classic characters are showing off a new trailer for 1994 animated film remake. Jeff Nathanson screenplay this movie from Brenda Chapman original story. Here is the full synopsis from the original story in the new film:

“Disney’s “The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau (The Jungle Book, Iron Man), journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy, and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends. Also, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.” In addition this movie CGI and live-action re-imagining of the live animals and wildlife.

Also stars voice cast Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Beyonce Knowles, Eric Andre, Billy Eichner, Alfre Woodard, James Earl Jones, and John Oliver. The Lion King opens in theatres July 19, 2019.
