MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson’s first fiction novel is out today

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson‘s first fiction novel, “The Sledge Chronicles: Rock Star Hitman”, is out! The novel is now available in audiobook form and you can purchase it via Amazon, iTunes, and Audible. What is the novel about?

David Ellefson also talked about his novel and said: “I’ve always wanted to write fiction, and ‘The Sledge Chronicles provided the perfect runway to launch the first of a series of books. I figured I may as well start close to home with a rock ‘n’ roll figure as the lead character and expand the global exploits from there.”

The novel of Megadeth bassist “The Sledge Chronicles: Rock Star Hitman” is about a musician who uncovers a startling quid pro quo. Doing this in exchange for achieving his dreams of rock stardom, he must enlist as a ruthless killer for a clandestine agency. Filled with twists, turns, and laughs, “Rock Star Hitman” is now out on the online stores and platforms!

Other Works by David Ellefson

David Ellefson’s published literary work includes four non-fiction titles two of them being his memoirs:

  • “More Life With Deth” (Jawbone Press, 2019)
  • “My Life With Deth” (Howard/Simon & Schuster, 2014), which is a self-published lyric-and-poem offering “Unsung: Words & Images” (Blurb, 2012)

He also has a  debut how-to book “Making Music Your Business… A Guide For Young Musicians” (Hal Leonard, 1997).

“The Sledge Chronicles: Rock Star Hitman”  is released through The Ellefson Book Co. imprint. The book was co-written with musician, filmmaker, and actor Drew Fortier. Drew Fortier is also known for his work with such artists as BANG TANGO, Chuck Mosley, etc.

The two also have an independent horror film due out in 2021 called “Dwellers”. The horror film is written and also directed by Fortier. He also is starring in the movie. Fans are on the wait for this film!
