Metallica reveals concerts of 2020 at drive-ins across America and Canada

Metallica announces their first concerts of 2020 at drive-ins across America and Canada regions. They will back with the ‘Encore Drive-In Nights‘ series.

During the pandemic, a lot of bands postponed or canceled their tour dates to next year. Also, between these bands Metallica most active because they share the #MetallicaMondays or any other performances on their social media accounts. They also posted an S&M2 perform on YouTube that you can listen to as a record very soon. Now, the thrash metal legends annıunces the new shows are part of the ‘Encore Drive-In Nights‘ series. This series also presented by most known event production companies Encore Live. Since June, ‘Encore Live’ production has partnered with drive-in theaters across the USA or Canada.

Here’s the official statement from Metallica band:

“It’s been a crazy, hectic, thrilling, and exciting time at Metallica HQ as the four of us have all been in the same room making music for the first time in almost a year! “What’s going on?” you ask? We’re recording a concert to appear at your local drive-in theater… that’s what!

We’ll be the first rock band to be featured in the Encore Drive-In Nights series, with a full set screening August 29th at hundreds of drive-in and outdoor theaters across the United States and Canada. We’ve been rehearsing at HQ for a show that will be shot especially for the drive-ins at a location nearby later this week and then we’ll pass it off to our award-winning production team to then be edited and mixed at the highest standards possible to be beamed into your cars from the big screen.”

For the Metallica ‘Encore Drive-In Nights’ series go on sale on the band’s fan club on August 12th, 2020. They will become available to the general public sale on August 14th, 2020 on here. Check out the band’s rehearsal for this upcoming concert series.
