Regé-Jean Page from Bridgerton Will Star in Dungeons & Dragons

One of the important reasons why Bridgerton has laud and beloved is obviously Regé-Jean Page. After his talented performance and handsomeness, people really enjoyed watching Page and already started to wait eagerly for the series new season. But we got better news. We won’t be watching him just in Bridgerton in the future since he has joined the cast of the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons.

Regé-Jean Page also recently announced that he will be hosting “Saturday Night Live.” On the other hand, he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance on Bridgerton, this month. You also might have watched Regé-Jean Page in his other works, which are ‘For the People’, ‘Mortal Engines’, and ‘Sylvie’s Love’. And now, Page will be starring in the movie adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons games. The confirmed names for the cast are Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith so far. So, Page will be joining beside them.

What we know about Dungeons & Dragons movie for now

The movie will be an adaptation of Hasbro’s game franchise which has been spawning video games, an animated television show, and a few movies so far. And now, it will get the major studio film treatment ever. On the other hand, It is still not clear whether the movie adaptation will be just a fantasy film by setting in the game’s world or tell the story of game-playing aspects. We just know a few cast member names including Regé-Jean Page and its production.

Spider-Man: Homecoming and Horrible Bossesformer partners, Johnathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will direct and write the script based on a draft by Michael Gilio. Hasbro/eOne and Paramount are producing and financing Dungeons & Dragons. On the other hand, eOne will distribute the movie in the U.K. and Canada while Paramount will be distributing it across the rest of the world.

There is still so much unknown that hasn’t revealed about the movie. But it is still a thrill to hear a new project from Regé-Jean Page.
