‘The Matrix Resurrections’ is a 2021 science fiction action film directed by Lana Wachowski who also co-wrote the movie with David Mitchell and Aleksander Hemon. It is the fourth installment of the ‘Matrix’ film franchise and the sequel to ‘The Matrix Revolutions.’ The movie starred Keanu Reeves, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Lambert Moss, all of whom were reprising their roles from the previous movies. Others starring in the film include Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The film’s soundtrack features music written by Johnny Klimek and Tom Tykwer. All the tracks from Disc One are original and written especially for the film in 2021. The second disc features remixes.
