Sony is adapting PlayStation’s most popular games to mobile
PlayStation has been really busy as most of us know, especially to get its users well entertained. And it also seems that it has no intention to stop as well as it expands itself from consoles and PCs to mobile.
It turns out that Sony Interactive Entertainment has started searching for a new employee for PlayStation as it advertised. And this advertising reveals that the megacorp is actually looking for a new head of mobile also added: “Lead the development and strategy of mobile gaming and help shape the future of gaming for a world-class studio.”
On the other side, Sony also announced a new 5-years-deal that gives Netflix exclusive rights to Sony Pictures’ upcoming theatrical releases of 2022 as well. As Sony will be taking about $1 billion from the deal, the streaming giant will have exclusive streaming rights to all Sony’s upcoming movies including the next installment of the Spider-Man franchise and more.
And now, we also find out PlayStation is reportedly looking for a Head of Mobile to adopt some of its tentpole franchises for mobile devices as it calls out the new candidates saying, “Do you want to lead the development and strategy of mobile gaming and help shape the future of gaming for a world-class studio?”
As the global leader in interactive and digital entertainment claims its “teams constantly strive to push the boundaries of technology, storytelling, and innovation in order to deliver memorable experiences for every PlayStation fan,” we don’t think no one can deny that truth as well. Now that we also know there are much more on the way. Our favorite games seem to be with us all the time in the near future instead of waiting on our tables for us to come back.
“As Head of Mobile, you will own and develop the mobile game’s strategy for PlayStation Studios and help build a foundation for future growth opportunities. You will lead all aspects of the expansion of our game development from consoles and PCs to mobile & Live Services with a focus on successfully adapting PlayStation’s most popular franchises for mobile. You will be responsible for building and scaling a team of mobile leaders and will serve as the Head of this new business unit within PlayStation Studios,” describes the beloved corporation what they are looking for as it also reveals their future plans clearly.
