Spike Lee’s See You Yesterday trailer shows us how time travel works
Netflix debuted the first trailer for its Spike Lee-produced sci-fi action film, See You Yesterday on yesterday.
We’ve now back in time with this film. The film is the director Stefon Bristol making his feature directorial debut. Also, Spike Lee back with who’s produced Bristol’s short films. Here is the full official synopsis about this sci-fi drama: “High school best friends and science prodigies C.J. and Sebastian spend every spare minute. They work on their latest homemade invention: backpacks that enable time travel. But when C.J.’s older brother Calvin dies after an encounter with police officers. The young duo decides to put their unfinished tech to use in a desperate bid to save Calvin. This is a sci-fi adventure grounded in familial love, cultural divides, and the universal urge to change the wrongs of the past.”
In this film, feature stars Eden Duncan-Smith, Danté Crichlow, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Brian “Stro” Bradley, Johnathan Nieves, Wavyy Jonez, Myra Lucretia Taylor, and Ron Bobb Semple. However, this sci-fi similar to Back to the Future or Ghostbusters. And Stefon Bristol started to the idea in 2014. But he’s taking 5 years to make this film. Because Netflix and Bristol constantly discuss content.
See You Yesterday will screen on Netflix beginning May 17, 2019.
