The Strokes share a tease for new album ‘The New Abnormal’

The Strokes reveal tease and artwork on their social media accounts. They’re releasing new music this year also going on a 2020-tour.

At New Year’s Eve concert in Brooklyn, the Strokes band debuted a new song and confirmed a new album due out in 2020. Also, in this concert band’s frontman Julian Casablancas said: “Yeah, we have a new album coming out soon. Surprise. 2020 here we come. We took the 2010’s – whatever the fuck they’re called – we took ’em off but now we’ve been unfrozen and we’re back.” After that they share a artwork tease on Friday, the band posted a video the release, complete with artwork created by American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Also, the band’s guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. add as a comment this:

“You think you’ve been waiting⁣. But the wait has just begun…⁣⁣ Welcome to #basquiat #thenewabnormal ⁣⁣#thestrokes2020”

Their the last album was 2013’s Comedown Machine. In 2016, they released the Future Present Past EP. The Strokes new album The New Abnormal due out in 2020. Check out the album teaser below.
