Tom Hanks stars as a Mr. Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood trailer
Sony Pictures has released the first official trailer for biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood movie stars Tom Hanks.
Tom Hanks is back with a new film. This film follows the story of the real-life friendship between the Fred Rogers and cynical journalist Tom Junod. Also, tells a man who learns big life lessons from Mr. Rogers while writing a profile of him. In this first trailer, we see emotional and heartwarming moments like Mr. Rogers last year documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor?. However, this little video shows us friendship between Mr. Rogers and the award-winning journalist Lloyd Vogel.

Here’s the official synopsis:
“Tom Hanks portrays Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, a timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. After a jaded magazine writer (Emmy winner Matthew Rhys) is assigned a profile of Fred Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, learning about empathy, kindness, and decency from America’s most beloved neighbor.” The movie also stars Chris Cooper, Susan Kelechi Watson, Enrico Colantoni, Maryann Plunkett, and Tammy Blanchard. Also, the screenplay was written by Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster and directed by Marielle Heller.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood will premiere in theaters nationwide on November 22, 2019.
