Wacken Open Air festival 2019 line-up, tickets, poster and dates

Wacken Open Air is known as one of the biggest metal festivals that held every year since 1990. Every year the festival is held in Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein province borders on the upper sides of Hamburg. This place is a cute little village which is called Wacken.

This open-air festival will be held at the 30th time in this small village which is integrated with nature. This year, the visitors from all over the world as in the past years so to speak will be considered as festival metal pilgrims. A few years ago, at the festival, a big change was put into practice. First of all, the barrels of beer were no longer transported. Instead, they are transported from the pipes that go from the ground. At a cost of 1 million euros this underground system which is one of the first in the world, the drainage system in the area was also added additionally. Therefore, while the participants drink the cold beer, the mud and the pits are causing less trouble.

Wacken Open Air 2019 – 30th Years Anniversary

A few changes were made in the main scenes. The main stages which were integrated with the slogans of the festival have divided as “Faster, Harder and Louder”. All three stages will be opened on Thursday, the same day. Also, e-sport tent, metal yoga and cooking experience with the black metal vegan chef have added. The most important bands that will take part in the festival this year are as follows:

Slayer, Parkway Drive, Demons & Wizards, Prophets of Rage, Sabaton, Powerwolf, Body Count feat ICE-T, Saxon, Within Temptation, Anthrax, Opeth, Bullet for My Valentine, Hammerfall, Airbourne, Testament, Rage, Monster Magnet, Uriah Heep, Eluveitie, Meshuggah, Kvelertak, Tesseract, Dark Funeral, Venom INC.,Unleashed, Septicflesh, Avatar, Beyond the Black, Legion of the Damned, Emilbulls and over 150 other groups will perform.
