Will there be a season 7 of Peaky Blinders?

Before we give you the good news, we are sad to say that season 6 is the last part of Peaky Blinders. It was announced in January that the award-winning series would be wrapping up with its last season, season 6.

Now, to give your fans some clarity on exactly what that other form will be. By another form, here is the good news! We are talking about Peaky Blinders The Movie.

Creator Stephen Knight told PA Media Group in 2019 that he would begin writing season seven right after finishing up the sixth. “Then I’m looking at spinoffs, maybe a movie,” he said. And then COVID kicked in…

“COVID changed our plans,” Knight told in an interview. “But I can say that my plan from the beginning was to end Peaky with a movie. That is what is going to happen.”

Steven Knight also adds: “We find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher. We believe this will be the best series of all and are sure that our amazing fans will love it. While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.”

Due to the pandemic, many tv shows and movies are having hard times shooting their scenes. The Executive producer of Peaky Blinders, Caryn Mandabach said the “safety of our cast and crew is always our priority” and that they had been working to get safely back into production since filming.

After originally hinting at a release date of “maybe early 2021” for season six, director Anthony Byrne hinted at a late 2021 or early 2022 release. “If we did start shooting in January (2021), we wouldn’t finish until May or June, and then it’s another 6 months of editing,” he added, hinting at a late 2021 or early 2022 release.
