5 Cyberpunk Movies to Watch If You Like CYBERPUNK 2077

CYBERPUNK 2077 video game, developed and presented by CD Projekt, was released this month after the first trailer which was released 8 years ago. It reached a record viewership on Twitch on its first day of release. CYBERPUNK-THEMED TV series, movies, and games started to become popular with the Cyberpunk 2077 game.

“Why are there neon lights everywhere? Is the Covid vaccine actually a chip? or did I play CYBERPUNK 2077 too much ..”

So what is this CYBERPUNK theme?

The term is defined by Donald Hassler as follows; “CYBERPUNK is a subgenre of science fiction in a dystopian futuristic setting that tends to focus on a “combination of low-life and high tech” featuring advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cybernetics, juxtaposed with a degree of breakdown or radical change in the social order.”

1- The MATRIX (1999-2003)

Thomas Anderson, who works for a good software company in the movie Matrix, spends his days trying to hack a program called Neo at night and doing Matrix research. Interestingly, Neo, who met Trinity and Morpheus, learns that the world in which he lives is actually a simulation that takes place only in his brain, and thus joins a team led by Morpheus to get himself out of this situation.
