Cam’ron, whose official name is Cameron Ezike Giles, is an American record label executive and rapper who began his career in the mid-1990s. Over the years, he has become an icon through his legendary rap songs. The 45-year-old is a multi-talented individual who has released both single rap music and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry. 10. He was Shot in 2005

He was shot on October 23, 2005, while driving his Lamborghini. He had just left a nightclub and had stopped at a traffic light in Washington DC when a passenger in a car that had stopped next to his threatened him and asked him to “give up” his car. He resisted and the man shot him once. He managed he drive off while flashing his lights until he came across a fan who drove him to the Howard University Hospital. Although the gunman drove off, crashed into a parked car, and fled the scene, he was tracked using a phone that had been abandoned at the scene.

9. He had a Hip-Hop Based Feud with 50 Cent

Cam’ron and 50 Cent had a feud that began in 2007 and ended in 2011. The feud began when 50 Cent was interviewed at Hot 97 FM and stated that he could shut down any project that had been produced under the Cam’s label. Cam’ron, later on, mocked 50 by releasing a song with his government name as the title. The feud ended in 2011 after Cam’ron confirmed that the two had resolved the issues between them and that everything was good.
